Charlotte Douglas International Airport Parking

Charlotte Douglas International Airport has several different options for parking available, although some might be full during peak hours and days. Make sure to have plenty of time for parking upon your arrival for your departure from the airport.

Paying the Parking Fee at CLT is easily and quickly done with Pay&Go stations which allow for drivers to use the prepaid lane when exiting the parking facility.

It is recommended to take the parking ticket, from entering the parking lot, with you on your journey rather than leaving it in the vehicle as the Pay&Go stations are located near the 2nd floor elevators in the Hourly Deck and at the shuttle bus stop between the two Daily Decks. The Pay&Go stations allow for paying in cash or with a credit card. This is the only way to pay for the parking using cash.

Other options of paying are handled in other exit lanes, these options include credit card and online booking.

Some parking options are credit card only.

Drop-off and Pick-up at CLT Airport

It is allowed to stop curbside outside the terminal to drop someone off or pick someone up, but it is not allowed to park and leave the vehicle unattended. Pick-ups and drop-offs are to be as quick as possible.

Cell Phone Lot at CLT Airport

The Cell Phone Lot is a free parking lot next to Long Term Lot 1 located to the right as the driver approaches the terminal, with the entrance to the Cell Phone Lot located just north of the entrance to Long Term Lot 1.

This is where greeters can wait in their vehicles while their arriving passenger is getting ready for pick-up on the curbside. The traveler lets the driver know when they are ready, after collecting their luggage from the baggage claim area, and the driver will be in place within a few minutes. Vehicles are not to be left unattended.

Express Deck

Express was previously called Business Valet Parking and it is one of two ultra-premium parking options available at the airport.

When arriving at the Express Deck, which is located furthest away from the terminal building, yet still on airport grounds, simply hand the keys to the attendant who will park the vehicle in the covered deck after assisting with the luggage. A complimentary non-stop shuttle bus will transfer the travelers the short ride to the upper level curbside outside the terminal. Upon the arrival back at the airport exit the Ticketing/Upper Level doors where the Express Deck shuttle stop is located near Curbside Valet.

While away various auto services are offered, including NC state auto inspections, car washes and more. The attendant will inform of the details when asked upon arriving at the Express Deck.

Parking Fee Express Deck – $16 per day, book online for $14 per day.

Curbside Valet at CLT Airport

The second ultra-premium parking option offered at the airport comes with the convenience of both leaving the vehicle to an attendant on curbside outside the terminal and having it returned by an attendant on curbside outside the terminal.

Curbside Valet can be found at the end of the upper level curbside, on Departures/Ticketing Level.

The service is offered daily between 5.00 AM and 10.00 PM. Valet attendants will provide complimentary luggage assistance, if requested, before parking the vehicle. The valet attendants follow Covid-19 restrictions and wear masks, use steering wheel covers and sanitize the keys.

A variation of auto services is offered during the time parked, including car washes, NC state auto inspections and more. The attendant greeting the driver will inform of more details when asked.

Upon returning to the airport either call +1 704-359-4647 or stop by the Curbside Valet booth and an attendant will deliver the vehicle.

Parking Fee for Curbside Valet - $35 per day, book online for saving up to 60%.

Hourly Deck at CLT Airport

The Hourly Deck is located on levels 4-7 in the parking facility located opposite the terminal. Parking spaces are on a first come, first served basis, and there are EV, Electric Vehicle, Charging Stations available on levels 4, 5 and 6.

Walkways located on Level 2, near the elevators, provide direct access to and from the terminal building.

Parking Fee for Hourly Deck – The first hour of parking is free. Each additional hour is $4 with a $24 daily maximum, credit card only. Book online for saving up to 60% of the cost.

Daily Decks at CLT Airport

There are two Daily Decks, located next to each other, at the airport, Daily Deck 1 and Daily Deck 2. Make sure to remember where you park.

A complimentary shuttle departs from and arrives at the shelter located between the two decks for transfer to and from the airport terminal. The ride is only a few minutes and the shuttles run continuously.

This parking option is perfect for those parking for longer than 24 hours and wants to keep the cost down.

Parking Fee for Daily Decks - $12 per day.

Long Term Lot 1 and 2 at CLT Airport

The Long Term Parking option is the most economical parking option available at the airport, especially for long term parking.

The parking lots are located on each side of the entrance road towards the airport terminal, Lot 1 to the right and Lot 2 to the left.

Complimentary shuttles provide transfer between the parking lots and the terminal on a continuous 24/7 basis.
