Parking at Charlotte Airport
Charlotte Douglas Airport has plenty of parking spaces to offer their visitors, either within walking distance or with complimentary shuttle services to the terminal. The price varies and is higher for shorter stays than for longer. The shorter term parking lots are also located closer to the airport terminal, with the Hourly Deck connected via walkways, than the long term lots. Two premium options are available including Curbside Valet right outside the terminal.
Transfers at Charlotte Airport
Rental Cars – The Charlotte Douglas Airport car rental facility houses the rental car companies available at the airport. It is located on the first three floors of the parking facility located opposite the terminal. A walkway on the second level connects the two buildings.
Public Transport Buses – CATS, Charlotte Area Transit System, operates the Sprinter, an Express bus that runs between the airport and City Center Charlotte from early morning to after midnight every day of the week.
The CATS bus stop can be found curbside outside the Baggage Claim area. Tickets are purchased on the bus.
Taxis – Taxi companies with licenses are allowed to wait at the taxi rank outside the Baggage Claim area. A taxi trip to central Charlotte from Charlotte Douglas Airport costs around $25 for up to two passengers and will take around 15-20 minutes.

The free WiFi network provided by CLT is called “CLT Free WiFi” and it is as simple as connecting to it before opening up a browser. Sometimes the browser needs refreshing or reopening before it works.
